Studio Management

Still shot from May 2022 commercial

From 2016 to autumn 2022, I have essentially lived inside photography studios. Starting as a temporary hire, I was a merchandise at Saks 5th Ave’s e-commerce and editorial studio, who counted and steamed designer products, whisking them from from floor to floor. After being promoted to Production Coordinator and diving straight into learning how real high fashion studio is run from start to finish. This brought me all the way up to managing a small studio at a start up plus sized fashion company Dia & Co. They were in the process of finishing their in-house shooting space complete with full light, cyc wall prop closet and constant incoming clothes to shoot and return.

Wanting to polish their image into a more of a high fashion look, I was worked hand in hand with the companies creative director and producer on each photography and video shoot that came thought the space.

While working at Dia & Co, I oversaw a monthly e-commerce shoot a month, two television commercials, each seasonal campaign and short form video content for the company’s homepage, blog, instagram and youtube page over the course of the year I was there.

Acting as anything and everything from runner to assistant producer, it was my job to ensure the team had everything they needed to focus on the shoot and deliver the highest standards of images and style to the customers.
